The IJOEH is an authoritative, interdisciplinary resource on workplace health promotion and the relationship between human health and the environment worldwide. We publish original scientific and social scientific research, as well as commentary and analysis in the broad fields of occupational and environmental health.

Peer Review Process
Manuscripts will be reviewed by the Editors and Associate Editors and sent to outside reviewers.
Submissions are reviewed on the basis of submissions on basis of suitability to the Journal's focus and scope, study design, originality, and relevance to ongoing developments in the field of occupational and environmental health.
Reviewers are blinded as to the identity of authors.
The entire review process can take up to six weeks.
Publication Frequency
The IJOEH is published quarterly.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Authors are required to disclose all conflicts of interests, including:
1. The sources of funding for the study, review, or other item being published.
2. Roles of all contributing authors, including editorial assistance prior to submission.
3. Any conflicting or competing relationships of the author and the author's immediate family in the last 5 years (or within 5 years from the date the research was begun, including:
•Financial Conflicts
oGrants or other funding
oStock ownership or options
oSalary
oPatents or copyrights
oBoard membership
oHonoraria
oGifts
• Professional Conflict
oExpert witness or consulting work
oMembership in governmental, institutional or industry advisory committee
Authors’ conflict disclosure statements will be printed alongside published articles.
Reviewers and editors are required to disclose any conflicts in connection with manuscripts they are asked to evaluate; Editors will be disqualified from reviewing manuscripts concerning which they have conflicts of interest.
Data Disclosure Policy
Authors of original scientific research agree to submit original study protocol and to release underlying data to editors or reviewers upon request.
